Caged Steel 44 at Doncaster Dome: MMA ‘Night of Champions’ returns on December 12

Caged Steel 44 returns to Doncaster Dome on December 12, 2026, for a huge Night of Champions featuring live MMA and combat sports action. Doors open at 5pm, with tickets available from £30.

Combat sports return to Doncaster this December as Caged Steel 44: Night of Champions takes over the Doncaster Dome for one of the city's biggest fight nights of the year.

The event will take place on Saturday, December 12, 2026, bringing professional and amateur MMA alongside Caged Boxing and Caged Kickboxing to the Dome on Bawtry Road.

This year's end-of-year show is set to feature eight championship title fights, with athletes from the UK and beyond competing inside the Caged Steel cage.

Eight championship fights in Doncaster

Caged Steel is a Doncaster-based combat sports promotion which regularly brings fighters, teams and supporters from across the UK and Europe to the city.

Caged Steel 44 will feature a mixture of professional MMA, amateur MMA, Caged Boxing and Caged Kickboxing, meaning spectators can expect several different fighting disciplines during the evening.

But the event is designed to be more than simply a series of fights.

Caged Steel promises fighter walkouts, music, lighting and live production alongside the action inside the cage, creating the atmosphere of a major fight night at the Doncaster Dome.

A different December night out in Doncaster

Taking place less than two weeks before Christmas, Caged Steel 44 could also provide an alternative to the traditional Christmas meal or night at the pub.

The promotion is encouraging groups of friends, families and work colleagues to attend, with both General Admission and VIP options available.

You don't have to be a dedicated MMA follower either. The organisers say the events are intended to appeal both to established combat sports fans and people experiencing live MMA for the first time.

Caged Steel 44 tickets

General Admission tickets currently cost £40 for adults and £30 for juniors aged 16 and under.

General Admission includes an unallocated seat, while the event also offers disabled access and has no age restriction. Tickets are issued electronically with a QR code which can be displayed on a phone or printed for entry.

The Caged Steel event page also advertises VIP admission, while Visit Doncaster says free parking, food and drink are available at the venue.
